Is that where that clip’s from? I remember exactly which one you’re talking about. Always wondered if that was a real clip or not.
Would those be Tetsuo: The Iron Man and Tetsuo II: Body Hammer?
Haven’t seen the sequel myself but Tetsuo certainly sounds like the second one you mention. Except the term ‘dismembering’ isn’t quite accurate; he has this obsession with stuffing metal into his own body and gradually becomes more and more of a machine. It’s a grainy 8 mm B/W film with special fx ranging from brilliant to crappy if I remember correctly.
House of 1,000 Corpses is the only movie that’s ever made me go, “Now that was FUCKED UP.” How I love thee, Rob Zombie. Not a lot of gore, but MESSED UP nonetheless. I’m still on my search for the full version (not the 88 minute scrap that was left from taking it from X - NC-17 - R).
`Course, I don’t watch a lot of gorey movies.
Allow me to ask my roomie:
Final Destination 2 has some wonderful death scenes. VERY vivid.
Seven in terms of “that shit could actually hapen.”
Yeeeah. We’re not well-versed in the ways of gore. But FD2 WAS fun.
That’s the second movie of Herschel Gordon Lewis’s Blood Trilogy
A must for any gore hound.
For gore humor…let’s not forget Redneck Zombies
I have not seen any of these, but from what I have read the Violent Shit trilogy is about as bad as it gets. Oh those wacky Germans.
Wow, thank you very much for the offer, but I’m not sure if I would feel right taking it for free. I’ll E-mail you.
Faces of Death Volumes 1-2
I’m surprised no one has mentioned Caligula yet. Or is that just really violent sex without much blood?
(I haven’t seen it, so I don’t know)
Did anyone suggest Nekromantic yet? Also, Evil Dead Trap, Deadbeat at Dawn and Body Melt.
