Well, yes. “Values” means looking the other way it and not mentioning it when it’s “one of us”… if it’s one of “those others” then crack down hard on them so they’ll know their place.
Her biggest act which I abhor is the, “do you know who I am?” claim. Like her position of power as a congress critter should let her get out of jail free.
Back in 2007, Republicans could not defenestrate Senator Larry Craig fast enough when he got busted for inappropriate sexual conduct in a public place. He also tried to pull the “do you know who I am” card, and his alleged behavior was just waving his hand under a bathroom stall.
The difference, of course, being that he was busted in an airport men’s room. Public lewd conduct is fine in the GOP as long as it’s not gay lewd conduct.
There’s also “own the media”. Some would argue this is equal to owning the libs, but I would suggest the categories are just enough disjoint to merit separate consideration.
Rep Jeff Jackson has an interesting take on his opposition. He makes extremely informative videos on social media. He doesn’t name names but has stated several times that the more vocal (crazy) critters on the R side are completely different behind closed doors. The frothing at the mouth is only for the cameras. He may only be talking about MTG and Gaetz but Boebert is in the same crew.
Unfortunately Jackson may be gerrymandered out of a job. If he can stay in the public eye he can become a superstar.
Her history of run-ins with the law even before her stint in Congress suggests that her outrageous antics are not merely performative, but rather indicative of her true nature. You don’t give 80 people food poisoning on purpose.
I saw an opinion piece that if she was vaping cannabis, she’d be guilty of the same thing Hunter Biden’s being charged with.
Maybe you do.
But that wouldn’t be better.
Was that the guy with the “wide stance”? His sin wasn’t sexual conduct in a public place, it was HOMOSEXUAL conduct in a public place.
It’s only a scandal if a Republican is caught in bed with a dead girl or a live boy.

Two things: how high do you have to be to not recall toking up in the theater? And not to kink-shame, but what kind of weirdo gets that turned on by a Beetlejuice musical?
Oh, and party of personal responsibility my ass. ‘I got high and gave a Democrat a hand job in public, but I’m not to blame, it’s my divorce’s fault.’ Yes, as we all know getting high and giving hand jobs in crowded theaters is a known side-effect of divorces.

I’m surprised that she was dropped by that summit. I’m so used to folks like her just getting away with everything and never facing consequences.
Ironically, divorce is a side-effect of giving a hand job in a theater.
I mean, she is a woman openly displaying feelings of sexual attraction. That’s less likely to be accepted in conservative circles than a man just doing what God designed him for.
