but I need your help!
I’ve only been registered for about 1 week, but I really enjoy reading all the posts and hope to stick around for a while.
My problem (insignificant tho’ it may be!) is that I too have a message board (website and guest book). It’s been running about a month now and I’m impatient to actually have someone other than myself and my family visit and write messages! (There’s been a couple of weirdos but aren’t there always?!)
Without wishing to poach you all away for a greater purpose, ;), maybe some of you would like to visit my site and contribute to my board? You never know, you might like it!

No, it wasn’t sarcasm, it was just a typo which happened to include the correct coding to put that link in.
Funny how that happens so often.

Democritus - As if! Why would I bother wasting my time doing silly things like that when I have SDMB to post on and my own site to update (which hasn’t happened since the launch date but is imminent), not to mention the other countless mundane tasks that fill my days (work, eating, watching tv, cooking, cleaning…need I go on?) Suffice to say, if your links don’t work, they stay that way (unless I’m in a very charitable mood and decide otherwise, but don’t count on it!) and as yet I only have one forum and as far as I am concerned, you can post what you like there. I’ll leave all the hard work to the moderators on this site!
Soulsling - I love the name (in fact, I love most of the character names used by J.R.R.T.) and for the longest time I was planning on calling one of my kids (when I have some) Galadriel, but I think kids have enough to contend with growing up!

Galadriel is (I think) one of the elves in Lord of the Rings - a great book and one day I will actually finish it instead of just saying I will!

[Hyjack, I am sorry] Please, please, please do yourself a favour and read the book!! It is absolutely wonderful! Galadriel is the queen of the fairies. Elrond is the King. It is wonderful. Please read it, you owe it to yourself!!
