Yes, it’s true. Pokemasters.com has closed up shop, due to the same money troubles that are afflicting other more worthy MBs. Take heed, Dopers. 
And Bonzo, having discovered the addictive joys of message board posting, is so desperate for someone to talk to that he has decided to register here at the SDMB, even though ya’ll don’t have a Pokemon forum.

So without further ado, please welcome The Duck’s Kid, Bonzo. He’s a freshman in high school, he has many large muscles, he is taller than the Better Half, his interests as noted in his profile include Pokemon and wrestling (by which he means both WWF and “real” wrestling–he’s going out for the wrestling team at school this year), and he’s still not entirely convinced that girls are really necessary.
So any flirting will be mostly wasted, I think.
I’ve told him that of course he’s welcome to start a “post your Pokemon team here!” thread in IMHO, but he shouldn’t take it personally if nobody ever posts to it. Also, that they don’t go in much for ASCII art around here.
And, he was hanging out here in the dining room, waitng to say “hi”, except that he just discovered that “Yoogeeoh” was on, so he went into the living room to watch that. So that tells you how much of an emotional investment he’s going to have in this place.
Oh, wait, never mind, it’s not on until noon. So now he can explain to you what Yoogeeoh is, because he just told me and I’m like, “Okay, I really didn’t want to know that much about it…”
