Unfortunately, I do not have a theremin so I will have to go with the weak piano from musicpedia:
You need to have Java and press on the play button, for an approximation of the theme song (imagine it with a theremin)
The notes used in my futile Musicpedia search:
c’2 e’2 g’2 g’4 b’4 g’4. e’4 a’4 e’4 d’1 c’2 e’2 g’2 b’4 g’4 e’4 c’2
The opening of the show was ominous with the theremin music, the narrator reported about “the history of science” with microscopic slides in black and white splashing on the screen with simple animation, and other scientific images of electronic scopes, ending with a close up of a galaxy, moving away until it became tiny on the screen.
Then the live (no animation) subject of the day would fade in.
The problem here is that it may had been an European show as the educational channel of the old country did include European productions and not just American ones, but I do think this was made in America, circa 1965-1980.
