I watched this series over 20 years ago, so it’s old.
Here’s what i remember of it:
A group of humans in suits that materializes armor and weapons (blaster type weapons) when they slap there chest and say something like “Power on”, they fight against robots while protecting other humans in what seems like post apocalyptic/war world, the main enemy robot can fly and has eagle like head his whole body is silvery/shiny and he repairs/regenerates him self.
In the course of the series the evil overlord tries to make a new army of land based (tank) super robots but is interrupted by the humans and manages to make just 1 complete super robot and 1 less than half finished one.
What country did the show originate from? Was it a prime time show? What kind of show animation, live action, or mixing in some CGI or other animated cut scenes? Was it like the Power Rangers?
Captain Power also had toys that would interact with the TV. At certain points in the show (like when they “powered up”) these flashing squares would appear on the screen. If you had the toy in front of the TV it would “power up” as well.
