I don’t know anything about manga. There was a japanese animated series on TV here a while back. I sort of half-watched a few bits of it and want to see more but I can’t remember the name and I can’t find any combination of search terms that seem to find it.
It seemed to be set in the future. There was some sort of group who were fighting mysterious evil forces. The group was a weird mix. I remember some fairly standard characters one being a boy/man standard-ish hero type. There may also have been a fairly female heroine type. One which stands out was a young girl who had a giggley cutesy little girl persona but was a child prodigy, ultra smart and seemed to stay at their base and do research and communications etc. There might also have been a strongman/henchman type character and there may have been an animal member of the team. Not sure.
I know this isn’t much to go on. It won’t be some obscure thing: for it to have been on TV here in the first place it must be a “breakout” mainstream thing.
The only thing I could find when searching which bore some resemblance was “Ghost in the Machine” but the character descriptions I’ve read didn’t seem right.
Anyone who can take a guess?
