I sat and read some of the prayers for the sick in my Book of Common Prayer. I don’t know you personally, but God does, so that’s close enough.
And like others have said, take care of yourself physically as well.

Oh the poor thing. My heart goes out to you and your’s, Tris.
Pie has had what was probably a heart attack, probably caused by damage from lack of oxygen during the pneumonia. She is on more treatments, and is sleeping.

How frightening! I’m glad Pie is able to get some rest tonight. I’m saying prayers for all of you.
Thanks for the update, Tris. We’re waaayyy down there on your overburdened list of things to take care of, but it’s good to know Pie came through and is sleeping. Don’t neglect to get as much rest as possible yourself. I imagine you’re feeling pretty jangled and harried right now but there isn’t an earthly thing more you can do. Wind down however you can and get some rest.

I just got back from the hospital.
No change in Pie’s condition.
Her mother just had the hospital bar me from visiting.
According to her “I upset several people.”
She won’t say who, or what I did.
I can’t talk about it anymore.
What? Hospital staff (including me) are trained to expect a certain amount of emotional behavior from family. You’re upset and you say things you ordinarily might not say. As long as you aren’t threatening people or preventing them from taking care of your Sweetie Pie, you should be allowed to see her.
Is there someone you can take with you who helps keep you calm?
I am so sorry this has happened, and even sorrier that she is sick.

What?!? Tris, from what I know that is absolutely wrong. Talk to an administrator immediately, or have someone else do it for you. They cannot keep you away from your daughter at a time like this.
