Please recommend other forums I may want to post in

I’ve come to the conclusion recently that forums I’ve generally liked in the past, mostly dealing with PC gaming, have lost their appeal to me. I’ve realized that I very rarely care enough about any of the topics discussed in these forums to post or participate in discussions, and/or much of the discussion on topics I do care about is not to my liking due to my seemingly increasing dislike of other posters’ attitudes/thoughts on most subjects (again, mostly pertaining to PC games). I’ve further concluded that my thoughts/likes/dislikes/peeves/preferences about PC games are rather unique and are not generally shared by most other PC gamers, and when I honestly express my views on most topics, I am confronted with negativity I truly do not have the time, interest or energy to argue, debate, RAGE, or conduct lengthy back-and-forth discussions about. In one of my now-avoided-with-extreme-prejudice forums, I recently received what I considered very far from reasonable, extremely volatile responses to what I believed to be rather simple, harmless, non-confrontational commentary on my part, and I found myself seriously bothered by it, and even more bothered by the fact that I let it bother me. Hence, this reevaluation.

Therefore, I’m now quite certain that I need a very serious change in my forum-browsing habits.

Does anyone have any suggestions of forums I might find interesting, given this list of my “likes/interests”?:

  • This forum, for general topics that cover everything (obviously)
  • Guitar and/or Bass Guitar (I play both and am in 2 bands at the moment)
  • Lead and Harmony Vocals (I’m also a singer in both bands)
  • Country Music (but I do like all genres except Rap and Hip-Hop)
  • Body Building/Exercise/Fitness
  • Healthy Foods/Recipes
  • PC building/components (I’ve built a dozen or so systems, and enjoy it)
  • War History, especially the American Civil War, WWI or WWII, but other war history is great, too
  • String Theory, Quantum physics, or any type of Physics discussion
  • Science Fiction books
  • Horror books
  • Fantasy books

Yes, I do realize I could Google all of this, but I’m hoping some here have already found the “best” sites.

Any help/suggestions would be very much appreciated!
