You know honeydarlin’s…it occurred to me recently that literally all of my most favorite men have names that start with either M or D. Do you think I need D&M anonymous? Hmmmmmmmmmmm-Well, whilst I think about this, I should like to thank the two of you for wanting to meet me. I am so totally, COMPLETELY of the same opinion in reverse! Thank you katrina for organizing a great get-together, and thank you katrina, Cervaise, Niggle, rjk, Scotticher, pluto, ren, and lissener (going around the table and really hoping that I didn’t skip anybody) for a great night, great conversation, and for making Mr. La and Tagalongs 1 and 2 feel part of the group. Mr. La says hi to everyone.
That cake was fantastic. We were still talking about it yesterday. Oh, and Scotti, what do you mean you weren’t scintillating?

Just wanted to add my thanks to katrina and Cervaise for a fine evening. Great bunch of folks, but, as noted, it’s hard to get to know everyone – there were lots of conversations going every which way all the time. I even got to sit next to Scotti (neener neener!) and still feel like there’s lots of catching up to do. (Scotti, the concert was great!!)
As for secrets – well, we promised JayLa that we would talk about her all this week since she was going to be away from the SDMB and couldn’t refute anything we said. I’ll start: She was very nice. Friendly and outgoing. And her husband and friends were a welcome addition to the group. Plus they had just come from cheering the Mariners on to victory. However – she did have trouble ordering just one drink!!
