Just biding my time, letting all the type 1’s organize everything… (just kidding). A Saturday afternoon around Seattle Center would be great for me. We’re up there anyway for my daughter’s acting class at SCT. Maybe we should find a restaurant seving fresh squeezed monkey brains so we can report to Uncle Cec.

Aw, Scotti, you’re not being difficult! I just threw out March 24 as a suggestion. I’m not attached to it, and I’m sure that others aren’t either.
How about April 14 or 21? Either one would give us a month to plan.

I am relatively new to the SDMB, but can I come anyway?
If so, I would prefer one of the later dates in April, just because March and early April are already pretty booked up. (Lots of birthdays and stuff.)
But if you go earlier, have fun without me and maybe I can make it to the next one. 
I think this is the third PNW Dopefest I’ve been invited to. Wouldn’t it be cool if I actually went this time?

Scotticher, thank you for your e-mail and the invitation. I will be participating in competetive archery throughout the northwest almost every weekend from now until September.
So I have this new job and all, and I’m trying to stay away from here because I don’t get any work done once I start visiting. And I’m doing pretty well – I mean, it’s hard, and I’ve been dying to find out how y’all are doing, but I’ve got my willpower up so I’m being productive.
And then I get this email from Scotti. Damn! So now I’m hooked again. It’s useless trying to stay away, and I’d love to meet you all.
AFAIK, any and all of those dates work for me. I’ll be there!
Boy, have I got some catching up to do with the boards. I’ll have to put in some overtime!
I must be getting dyslexic in my old age. I read this to say "leaving April 21st, and since I don’t seem to have gotten a calendar for 2001 at home, I asked Falcon to see if the 14th was a Saturday…thinking that we should try to do this before GND leaves.
Then I realized that what GND really said was that she was LOVING the 21st of April. So, I asked dearest Falcon to check the date for me again. Of course, she inquired as to my general health and well being at this point, being a woman of uncommon caring and gracious tact…
But I digress.

Works for me, especially since I’ve remembered I have a wedding to attend on March 24 and thought I’d have to miss the fun. Unfortunately, it’s not my wedding–but I’ve been assured the groom has lots of single male friends. Why else would anyone go to a wedding?
Cervaise and I are in. Our schedule is pretty open, so any of the dates mentioned are fine with us. We’ll see if we can get Lissener to come out of his shell and join in as well.

Thanks for the invite, Scotticher. April 21 sounds like a fine date. I was just at Beppos tonight. Definitely a great spot for large group gatherings, but the food is mediocre at best (which might explain the food fights, but I digress). The menu is of the Big Ass variety: big ass plates of spaghetti, meatballs, bottles of wine, garlic bread. David Letterman would be proud. I’ll look forward to the rendezvous.

April 21st works for me, too. Prepare yourselves for social ineptitude at it’s best (meaning me). You might want to check and see if any large festivals are going on downtown at that time. I’m not interested in getting beat up by thugs or cops.
