I live in Vancouver, WA (Just N of Portland, OR). Except I work on Saturdays until 5 and I am WAY too poor to take off work. (Plus, I’m saving up all my paid time off for my vacation in June)

I was on hiatus during the last Seattle dopefest, but I’m back in force for this one!! April 21st sounds great to me, but I’m in Tacoma . . . anyone passing through and could give me a lift? I’m just not very familiar with the bus system.

I’d really love to meet all the new PNW dopers that earthquake shook out of the wookwork, but I’ll be in Couer D’Alene for a Scrabble tournament. My own fault for taking so long to find this thread, though (thanks for the tip, Scotti).
I STILL plan on having a cookout for everyone once the weather gets warm enough, though, so I WILL eventually see y’all again…

This will be the 4th dopefest I’ve committed to. Of course, I’ve missed all the rest through circumstances (mostly) under my control.

Okay Scotti, I’m fessin’ up. Some of us in the Portland area were/are talking about a little get together down here. We had no intention of interfering with your much larger DopeFest up there. In fact, when we started talking about it, we didn’t even know about your shindig.
Anyway, since it looks like you’ve settled on April 21, and we are talking about March 24th, anybody who wants and is able could come to both. 
If I misunderstood, and you are shooting for March 24th, then we’ll just change our plans. No problem. We absolutely don’t want to step on any toes. Hope you aren’t mad. :o
