Shower. I pretty much loathe baths unless they’re very hot and can be kept that way.
Soap or Body Wash?
Depends on my mood. I have both.
Wash Cloth or poofy thing?
Just rub the soap on my bod with my hands, but I use a washcloth to scrub “around back.”
How long?
30-45 minutes.
Do you use conditioner?
Every single time.
Hot or Cold?
I usually like it very hot, but cool-ish in the summer because my bathroom’s not air conditioned.
Is the scent or brand of the soap/shampoo important?
I will only use Aveda hair care products. Usually it’s Shampure, but for summer I’m using their Camomile stuff to bring out blonde highlights. The results with their products are noticeably better than anything else I’ve ever used, and I don’t need to use as much of the product, either.
I like Aveda and Origins body washes, and soaps by Origins, Yardley, and Oil of Olay.
Do you feel tearless or baby shampoo is somehow “inferior”?
Yes, because my hair feels disgusting when I use it (Johnson’s, anyway). Nothing I’ve tried compares to Aveda.
Yeah, I’m sort of obsessive abour being clean, and I move slowly. Usually I’ll wash each body part twice. Once to get the dirt/oil off, and another time to feel clean.
Shower daily for cleanliness. Bath for shaving puproses (followed by a shower).
2. Bar of soap, or body wash?
Ivory Soap. Bar Form.
3. Washcloth, or poofy thing?
Wash cloth.
4. Approx. how long do you take?
Bath takes a minimum of an hour. Shower takes about 20 minutes.
5. Do you use conditioner?
Yes.
6. Hot or cold?
Warm at first, cold at the end (by choice, not because I run out of hot water)
7. Is the scent or brand of the soap/shampoo important?
Yes. Other soaps make me sneeze. And I’m partial to Suave shampoo–great scents for cheap. And conditioner must be Clairol Renewal 5X…stuff does wonders for my hair.
8. Do you feel tearless or baby shampoo is somehow “inferior”?
I hate the smell of baby products. Although Loreal kids shampoos are great things.
7. Is the scent or brand of the soap/shampoo important?
It is to me. My favorite shampoo scent is Pantene, but I settle for whatever’s on sale at Wal-Mart. I prefer Irish Spring soap.
8. Do you feel tearless or baby shampoo is somehow “inferior”?
I like the smell of baby shampoo but it wrecks my hair if I use it. I’ve never seen tearless shampoo that WASN’T made for kids – do they make it for adults?
Hands. Maybe once a week I’ll use this thing that’s basically a long layer-stitched tube made out of that scrubber weave, with handles at each end, for my back.
4. Approx. how long do you take?
No-frills shower = ten minutes. Shaving = add five minutes. Masturbating = add ten minutes.
5. Do you use conditioner?
No, but I use a moisturizing shampoo.
6. Hot or cold?
Usually, as hot as I can make it. I’ll then continue adjusting upward as I get used to the temperature. However, in the last couple of weeks, when it’s been hotter than hell in Seattle, I’ve been taking cool showers instead.
7. Is the scent or brand of the soap/shampoo important?
It’s not important to me. But my wife has asthma and is allergic to scents and perfumes, so I keep everything to a minimum. I even use unscented deodorant.
8. Do you feel tearless or baby shampoo is somehow “inferior”?
Didn’t used to, until my sister started complaining about the greasy look of my hair. Now I do.
6. Hot or cold?
Hot. Always. Until the hot water runs out.
7. Is the scent or brand of the soap/shampoo important?
Not at all. I once used dog shampoo and didn’t notice. (My aforementioned sister left it in the shower, where I never have my contact lenses in. You do the math.
