Politicians voting record

I s there any site on the web that lists the voting record of Pol’s?
Specifically I am looking for a list of Pol’s who voted on (either yes or no) the 1994 “assault weapons” ban.

The Library of Congress has all Congressional voting records. If you know the title or number of the bill in question, you’ll find the information easily.

Note that as with most federal legislation, there have probably been some newer bills that amend the original 1994 bill.

It’s not quite as simple as Friedo suggests. You have to know what Congress you are looking for (in your case, it’s the 103rd Congress) and what bill the assault weapon ban is buried in. Then you have to sort through the various amendments and permutations a bill goes through in order to get what you want.

Instead of instructing you on how to go about doing that (I have some familiarity with the system since I’m a former Senate staffer), here’s what you’re looking for:

The bill that contained the assault weapons ban was crime bill, and here’s information on that:
http://thomas.loc.gov/cgi-bin/bdquery/z?d103:HR03355:

The vote on the final Senate passage of the bill:
http://www.senate.gov/legislative/LIS/roll_call_lists/roll_call_vote_cfm.cfm?congress=103&session=2&vote=0029

The vote on the final House passage of the bill:
http://clerk.house.gov/evs/1994/roll416.xml

Here is the vote on the specific Senate amendment that inserted the assault weapons ban into the bill:
http://www.senate.gov/legislative/LIS/roll_call_lists/roll_call_vote_cfm.cfm?congress=103&session=1&vote=00375

Sorry, the link for the final Senate passage should be this:
http://www.senate.gov/legislative/LIS/roll_call_lists/roll_call_vote_cfm.cfm?congress=103&session=2&vote=00295
