Polk County, Arkansas Killings

Lookie here. The police in a couple of small towns have found four people dead. I understand the story is breaking, but the quality of the writing leaves many question.

Was this a mass killing or a serial killing? (I need to know for my list.)
How far apart were the bodies found? Are these locations near each other?
What was the means of the murders?
Are we talking Tuesday 25 April or today, Tuesday 2 May?

I just got off the plane and am jet-lagged. Maybe I am missing something, or many things. Anyone know what went on here, or perhaps can someone help me with my reading skills?

A woman, her two minor children, & her uncle. I’m not sure how you define the difference between the two but they’re all part of one family & all appear to be killed within a short time period, so I’d say mass killing.

How far apart were the bodies found? Are these locations near each other?
According to the article the two towns are about 3 miles apart.

A Polk County man was arraigned Monday in Circuit Court on four counts of capital murder in the deaths of four members of a family whose bodies were found last week.
