I eat it occasionally, with cereal or granola mixed in. I buy it when it’s on sale (or when I’m at Aldi’s), and it’s probably not the kind that’s advertised on TV.
That’s great. I’d buy that!

Anybody ever seen that 80’s B movie “The Stuff”?
That movie pretty much turned me off to the stuff. Not that I believe in space monsters; just that it doesn’t look appetizing to me.

Meh. I eat it occasionally, though I haven’t been in the mood for years.
41 y/o male. Love yogurt. Eat yogurt. Mmmmm…yogurt.
My husband eats it every day, on all hours of the day. Breakfast, dessert; plain white yoghurt it is. He is very picky about the brand yoghurt, though.
Me, I eat it rarely.
Your sample might want to specify if plain yoghurt is more of a guy thing, andfruity yoghurt a girl thing.
Come to think of it, you seldom see advertisements for fruit directed at guys, either. Or for candy.
Yeah but that’s the thing. Generally yogurt in our culture isn’t stuffed full of stupid fruit preserves. A delicious raita, I know lots of men who eat that. And the Greek stuff is great - tatziki? I forget the spelling.
But yogurt from the store? Nope. No men I know.
ETA: Now that I think of it, my SO will drink kefir, which I won’t touch. (Not that I eat fruity yogurt either).
Male. I like war movies and science, I have two pit bulls, and I eat soy yogurt.
Only if it’s frozen.
When I was a little kid I used to eat it, then for years it was relegated in my mind to the “icky foods” category.
For some reason I picked it up again a few weeks ago - just plain, non-fat greek yogurt in those little 6oz cups. And I like it. I eat it for dessert or breakfast - dice up some fresh strawberries and add some granola or chopped nuts. Relatively healthy, extra serving of dairy and fruit, it satisfies my urge for something sweet and crunchy.
Both my husband and I eat yogurt. We like the plain stuff; the thicker, the better, so I usually buy Greek yogurt, and we like to top it with pineapple or strawberries or granola or honey and walnuts.
Just recently I was shopping at an Indian market and found this brand called Golpi. I bought a quart of the whole-milk version and discovered heaven. It was almost as thick as Greek yogurt and had a mild milky quality, IOW, it wasn’t super tart. We ate it up pretty promptly both for breakfast and as raita and now I want some more and have to find time to get over to an Indian market again. Indian cuisine is the bomb as far as yogurt is concerned - there are dozens of ways to eat it, drink it, and cook with it.
I eat plenty of yogurt, but I may be a bit of an outlying phenotype.
A few times a week I’ll have it at breakfast.
Socially immature 42yo male, heterosexual, with masculinity issues.
I used to eat yogurt all the time. Now I’ll only get the urge a couple of times a year. And I’ll dump in some grape nuts for some added flavor and texture.
Ditto the miniscule serving complaints.
Is TCBY really yogurt? They’ve done an excellent job disguising it as ice cream.
I eat the stuff most weekdays for breakfast. Right now I’m buying the Chobani Greek brand. I like it because it’s thick and doesn’t have the additives that Dannon and many others do.
I get the drinkable stuff and usually the raspberry ones. Each morning I take a giant swig of the stuff on my way out the door.
I’ll eat if if I remember to buy it. I just like it unflavored, topped with granola. When I happen to have yogurt and too much leftover milk, I like to make my own yogurt, since it’s easy and tasty. It will also sub for buttermilk in my pancakes in a pinch.
I’m a guy. I go through times when I eat a lot of yogurt. Not lately though.
Guy here: I eat it at least a couple times a week usually - flavored Tillamook brand (may be local to the NW). Although I recently tried Trader Joe’s yogurt, and it was exceptionally smooth and not nearly as sweet as the Tillamook - we may switch to that.
While I’m not a fan of the unflavored Greek-style yogurt on its own (reading the Armenian yogurt dish recipes linked upthread, I was thinking “where’s the sugar?”, we’ll sometimes us it in smoothies with some apple juice and frozen berries. Nummies.
And my 2 year old son likes it as well, if that counts.
I eat low fat 2 black cherry 150g tubs of yogurt everyday. I don’t like the other flavours.
I do.
Though I do like European yogurt more than American yogurt.
