Yes I have several people on the official block list and concurrently blocked with the VBulletin Manager.
If anyone is hesitant to put someone on their block list for fear of becoming obsessed with the posts you can’t see, just try it anyways. As the OP said herself, she thought she’d just get too curious but it hasn’t happened.
No. The World is my ignore list, I don’t require help to disregard the opinions of others.
I have a couple people on my ignore list. most I haven’t seen for awhile and I suspect have been banned (too lazy to check). the two who i occasionally see post are actually both liberal (IIRC) like myself on general political issues.
But, Alice! I’ve changed! Honestly, I’m not like that anymore. Won’t you reconsider?

I love my ignore list. Wilbo523, it’s akin to fast-forwarding through the commercials.
I also only have one person on it. I don’t think I’m the type to forgive and forget–I have a very high threshold for bullshit, so if someone exceeded that threshold and made my list, there’s not much chance for redemption. Having said that, I really don’t recall what the poster did to get on my list. I just know it must have been bad.

I’ve had 4 people on my list. One is no longer a member and one just posts so damn much that threads became a bit confusing and annoying because people are always replying to him/her and it makes the thread hard to read. So I took that person off. So now I’ve just two people on my list.
No - there’s one person I may put on my ignore list because they’re mentally unstable and litigious, but only if they contact me further.
Otherwise it seems a strange and pointless thing to do tbh.
