Poll: Soft Drinks

Which soft drinks do you prefer?

For once I’m in before the poll. But, unfortunately, I like too many to really vote without them being narrowed down first. But I do love Sam’s Cola.

My “other” vote was for Diet Cherry Dr. Pepper. Actually, just about any soda that adds cherry flavoring is a winner, in my book. Also, strawberry soda is big on my list, too. I’m looking at you, Strawberry Crush.

I used to drink exclusively Mountain Dew. But after living for a few years with regular splitting headaches I made the switch to non-caffeinated soda about six months ago. Now I drink Orange Crush (Sprite when I’m eating out somewhere) nearly exclusively. Haven’t had headaches since.

I’m a Coke addict. COKE!!!

And I said that as an aside when I was being admitted to the psych unit and the guy looked at me like I was cuh-razy. Whoops, says I, Coca-COLA, not coke-aine!!!

And I still made my mom haul me in two liter bottles while I was there! My other choice was these baby sized cans of I don’t know what off-brand. Not gonna happen, my friends.

I drink a lot of canned coffee, particularly when it’s hot out.

Usually I drink seltzer water.

Ginger Ale

Diet Dew!

I’m with Zeldar, the only soda pop I drink is ginger ale, which didn’t even make the damn list!

Squirt

I don’t really drink soft drinks regularly, but usually will get a root beer with any fast food meal. Ginger ale is usually reserved for when I’m not feeling well. Apart from that I picked iced tea and juice.

For a cola I like Diet Rite Pure Zero (no caffeine, carbs, calories, or sodium). For other I like Diet Sunkist.

I picked coke, coke - other (cherry), pepsi - other (wild cherry pepsi) and other - birch beer.

I would have voted for iced tea, but I didn’t see it on the list :stuck_out_tongue:

Ginger ale, too, but only if it’s Vernor’s.
For the most part, just plain, old carbonated water.

Maybe a subject for another poll, though: I don’t really consider iced tea or juice to be “soft drinks” in the normal vernacular. Certainly they’re not “hard” drinks (implying their containing alcohol), but I’ve always understood “soft drinks” to be a nationally accepted substitute for the awkwardness of not knowing whether to say “pop,” “soda,” “soda pop” or “coke” (lower case c). Is my impression not the norm?

I selected juice, although I wouldn’t classify that as a soft drink?

I voted for other: Ginger cola!

My soft drink of choice is ginger ale.

Coke, but I’ll drink Pepsi if I have to.

Other: Crush Lime, especially in the summertime.

Ice Tea is a soft drink?

While I do drink a lot of bottled green tea, I consider it as an alternative to soft drinks, not one of them.
