No, it’s a simple statement of what the Right has always wanted. A major reason why we are in our present situation is that so many people have tried so hard to deny that. To pretend that they are well meaning, reasonable people we can “compromise” and be “bipartisan” with. And again and again they’ve taken advantage of that delusion to gain more power and hurt people, because that is what they care about.
They want a “Day of the Rope” where they can kill us all.

The people who have been proven wrong were the ones saying back in 2016 that Trump would do things like commit genocide or legalize slavery or start a nuclear war. It’s ten years later and Trump hasn’t done any of those things.

I wouldn’t mind seeing California, Oregon, Washington (at least the parts west of the mountain ranges), and Hawaii secede and form their own country.
