Karl Marx or Sigumnd Freud - Freud. While many of his theories have been discredited, I find them fascinating and they give me some new insights. I find Marx tedious and difficult to understand.

Elton John or Billy Joel - Toughest question so far. I love both, and have dozens of albums from each of them. I think I’d have to go with Elton John because he is probably the better artist and will have more staying power. Billy Joel is a little too much of his time.
