(this just happened to me 5 minutes ago)
If you find an old Powerball ticket that you never checked - and realize that it is more than a year old (and thus void) - do you check to see if you would have won anything? For the record, I am going to check right after I post this poll.

Oops, I forgot the “none of the above” option!

  • I selected at least one answer so I didn’t need a “none of the above” option
  • I could have used a “none of the above” option

Does anyone even know the difference between Scalloped and Au Gratin potatoes?

  • Yeah, plenty of people do. Some Encyclopedia you are.
  • I may have googled it real quick to double check before voting.
  • There is no difference. I will die on this hill.
  • There’s a difference, but honestly taters is taters if you know what I mean.

If you could rewind back to age 20 and re-live life with the accumulated wisdom and experience you have now (but no foreknowledge of lottery numbers, Bitcoin, stocks, etc.), how successful would you be?

  • I would be wildly successful, compared to the real me
  • I would be quite successful
  • I would be only somewhat successful
  • I would actually fail even more than now

You see a large explosion and fireball about a quarter mile away. It’s large but you’re not directly in immediate danger (it’s not going to reach you). Do you run toward it, or away?
  • I run towards it.
  • I just run away.
  • I stand and watch until I’m forced to do one or the other, but most likely run away.
  • I run towards it until I can clearly see what it is, then I’ll decide.
  • I run away until I feel it’s safe, then I cautiously move towards it.
  • Something completely else.

How do you dice an onion?

I assume everyone starts with cutting off the stem end, cutting in half, then peeling the skin off, and ends with perpendicular cuts. In the middle, you:
  • Make vertical cuts then parallel cuts
  • Make fan cuts
  • Throw it in a food processor
  • something else

The traditional “parallel cuts” method:

The “fan cut” method:

When you say something is over rated / under rated, you mean:

  • I have some scientific way of rating things, and my result is higher/lower than some other official rating.
  • I just personally like/dislike it more/less than other people seem to.

I have never eaten at either burger place.

  • I therefore skipped the poll.
  • I answered randomly.

News coverage about Trump’s numerous scandals, lies, buffoonery or illegal deeds:

  • I’m fatigued of it

TV commercials that look like they were filmed on someone’s phone:

  • Dislike them because of the aspect ratio. ROTATE YOUR PHONE, PEOPLE!!!
  • Dislike them because they look stupid and amateurish.
  • Dislike them because they are FAKE phone videos, which aren’t fooling anyone
  • Have no opinion about them.
  • Like them because it makes it seem like real people are approving the products, rather than paid spokespeople
  • Like them because I use my phone so much that the aspect ratio seems more normal than horizontal.
  • Like them because advertising is clearly not a big part of their budget, so the product is probably cheaper.
