  • I use cream or lotion on my skin mostly just during dry seasons
  • I rarely use cream or lotions on my skin (just when I have a particular reason, not daily routine)
  • I almost never or never use cream or lotions on my skin

For the sake of this question, the house you reside in is identical in both scenarios. This includes financial aspects like property taxes and resale value.

In the first scenario, all of the houses in your vicinity are noticeably better than your house; you have the worst house in the neighborhood.

In the second scenario, all of the houses in your vicinity are noticeably worse than your house; you have the best house in the neighborhood.

Which scenario would you rather live in?

  • The first scenario where the other houses are better than mine.
  • The second scenario where the other houses are worse than mine.

Will our intelligence insure the long-term survival (+15k years) of the human race or are we not smart enough? Use your own definitions of intelligence and survival.

  • Yes, we are plenty smart enough as a whole.
  • Yes, our collective intelligence will overcome all obstacles, including ourselves if need be.
  • No, we need to be at least twice as smart.
  • No way, have you looked around? Smart? Haha!
  • Yes, technological innovations and problem-solving will ensure our survival that long.
  • We are dumb enough to crash the food chain but smart enough to survive by synthesizing whatever we need.
  • We are dumb enough to cause runaway global warming but smart enough to survive by living underground or perhaps in space.
  • No, we seem to have the inability to come to a collective consensus and implement very long-term solutions.
  • Finite resources are the problem, not intelligence.
  • It isn’t a matter of intelligence but instead wisdom.
  • It isn’t a matter of intelligence but instead good leadership.
  • It isn’t a matter of intelligence. We need more adaptable and non-corruptible political/economic systems.
  • No. The drive for short-term profits and infinite growth at any cost will destroy us and many other species.
  • No, we are not smart enough to overcome our nature. We are much too tribal, violent, petty and greedy.
  • No. It is a matter of a lack of intelligence but also many, many other things.
  • No, there are too many variables in that time frame to anticipate, with our level of collective intelligence.
  • Actually, our intelligence will be a strong contributor to our demise.
  • Yes. We are just barely smart enough and we will muddle our way through; probably with a lot of starvation and misery along the way.
  • No way. 15 thousand years? Shiiiiiiit. We probably won’t make it another 20.
  • Other!!! Let me enlighten you with the real answer!

You have a bottle of antacid tablets in assorted flavors. The instructions say to take 2. You…

  • Take two of the same flavor.
  • Take whatever two random tablets come out of the bottle first, even if they’re two different flavors.
  • Purposely take two different flavors, because I like to combine flavors like that.
  • My answer is so nuanced it somehow doesn’t fit any of these options.

  • I could go 2 days without, on a regular basis.
