Tomorrow is Christmas Eve and I just realized that my house doesn’t have a fireplace. Santa Claus won’t be able to get in! What should I do?
Leave a door unlocked.
Leave a window open.
Cut a hole in the roof.
Call one of those emergency fireplace installation places, even though they’re probably really busy today. Maybe if I offer them a couple thousand dollars extra they can get it done by tomorrow night.
Build a slapdash addition to the house with a fake chimney and fireplace. Santa is so busy he probably won’t notice that it’s not real.
Leave a note pinned to the door explaining my dilemma and hope that he’ll leave my presents anyway. After all, I’ve been a good boy this year!
Forget it, the bastard was just going to bring me a lump of coal anyway.
Something else.

You’re driving and a friend is navigating.
You: T intersection is coming up. Which way do I turn again? Left?
Friend: Right.
There is no time for further questions; you must turn now. Which way are you turning?
Inspired by a current active thread:
You find a valuable item like an Apple watch, nobody nearby has obviously lost anything.
I’m honest and I would take it with me as the best way to reunite it with its owner, it’ll probably get stolen otherwise.
I’m honest and I leave it be, its rightful owner is likely to notice and return for it.
I’m dishonest and will steal it.

Stupid paper, stupid tape, stupid scissors. Well at least it is mostly covered even if maybe some corner is poking through the wrap.
Gift bag, forget the wrapping horror show.
Here is your gift, unwrapped.

Health reasons
Alcohol doesn’t appeal to me
Religious or moral reasons
other answer
I DO drink alcohol
Other. I’ve never been much of a drinker and in my 70’s I no longer have any tolerance for it. Even one (1) lousy beer results in a) feeling kind of pleasant for about ten minutes followed by b) headache for 30-60 minutes before c) falling asleep. And yes, a very mild hangover the next morning.
