It’s 2024, the 400m, 800m and 1500m women’s golds have all been won by the same AMAB athlete, who has done the absolute minimum transitioning required by the IOC. In all three events the silver medalist was quite a way back.

Your thoughts are closer to:

  • Congratulations, that’s a spectacular achievement by her.
  • This shows that IOC standards are not stringent enough.

The ideal thing, I think, is to keep the poll in here but not clog it up with discussion. So we could link to something in a different thread. This poll is really for cat owners.

My primary bathroom has a tub/shower combo with an opaque curtain. On the opposite wall from the tub is the lavatory. It rather often happens that when I turn off the water and push the curtain aside one of my cats is sitting on the lavatory. Waiting to catch whatever comes out I presume.

Question: does one or more of your cats do this?
