I regret that I come across so poorly sometimes on the internet, and I shall take a week’s hiatus from posting in the Pit, concentrating on making my posting less abrasive to some. I have had a number of interesting run-ins with viruses and other malware, but I am not now nor have I ever been an intentional vendor of extended warranties, or even retracted warranties, or for that matter orange-pekoe teas, whether or not sung about by Warrant.
But if I ever get my hands on the SOBs who engineered something I’ll misspell as Kewl Webb Surch and all its variations… :mad:

Could Polycarp and jjimm both have been the victim of one of those viruses that read your address book, and then send themselves to all the addresses in it? Do virus emails now exist that appear to come from someone you know? It woiuld seem a logical development.
