The two episodes of Batman on TVLand will feature Jay Sebring as one of Catwoman’s henchmen—Jay was one of the fellows who was killed with Sharon Tate. He was enough of a celeb hairdresser to rate a Batman cameo (as—ha! ha!—Jay Oceanbring. The wit on those writers . . .).
If TVLand has an ounce of sense, they will also run the Beverly Hillbillies with Sharon Tate tonight . . . Maybe an old Folger’s commercial with Mrs. Olson, too . . . and some Charlie’s Angels promos . . .
. . . and an episode of Doris Day’s show . . . and use some Beach Boys music for bumpers . . .

(As an aside, the photos in Helter Skelter, with the bodies white out, always freaked me out. They seemed more disturbing to me than the actual undoctored photos would have been, like “You do not want to see what’s under here.”)
Actually, PL, I have seen the undoctored photos, and am rather chagrined that Sharon Tate looks better dead than I do alive . . .
Well, turns out he wasn’t a henchman, he only had an in-joke walk-on. Catwoman (Julie Newmar, thank goodness) was using his hair salon as a hideout, and Jay merely hovered in the background, had one line and a sight gag with a vase. Nice-looking fellow, and Julie had some great double-entrendes with Adam West.
