I hate to rain on your parade, but I spent four years in the porn industry as a cameraman, shooting over 200 movies.
Guess what? The guys really do last that long. A typical porn scene is shot in one take, and often edited to become shorter, not longer.
Additionally, the “fluffer” story, while widely accepted, is an urban legend. I never once saw a fluff girl on any of our sets.
I’ve noticed that certain cold medications drastically reduce my ability to “finish” quickly, if at all. I’m assuming it’s the cough suppressants, seing as coughing is a parasymathetic reflex similar to orgasm.

Ooze, while I don’t wish to call your credentials into question, I have seen plenty of porn movies where watching the background will indeed indicate a distinct lack of continuity. Unless they guys can last hours and hours, enough for say the sun to move, in which case they should be the subject of a number of rigorous studies.

I’ve also seen a male porn star snorting something from a small vial (not so discreetly) on screen. I assumed they used drugs for stamina.

Ooze, how long have you been in the business? My understanding is that fluffers were more common in the old days when they used film. Along came the '80s and camcorders, and fluffers became less important. The idea being that film gets used up and is expensive, but tape is cheap and can be reused.

Only a college student could have asked this question in the first place - I imagine most men don’t think being able to do it for 20-30 minutes at a time is particularly special (although it was unlikely when we were young). As for the use of drugs I don’t know of any that help (with the obvious exception). However circumscision, regular sex and/or frequent masterbation will all help to delay ejaculation. The pop star Sting claims to go on for hours, even up to 8 hours at a time, using Tantric sex techniques.

I have heard of people that use the muscle relaxant ANAPROX (think that’s how it’s spelled) to delay… the inevitable.
There was a Frontline on PBS a while ago about porn, and I believe they said that the advent of Viagra has changed the face of male porn stars. The way I understand it is:

I always wondered why some of the men porn stars seem to have large penis’s (penisii?), but small testicles, I thought that this was the reason they lasted so long, that they had some sort of surgery to make them last. Or maybe because they shoot so much that their testicles have shrunk? Anyone know the answer on why they have smaller testicles?
