I have two Yahoo e-mail accounts. One is for personal correspondence, etc. The other is on the back cover of my book and is there so readers can e-mail me with comments, questions, etc. Is it possible to finagle something so that I can open up my personal account and also see any messages that are in my book account? Or am I going to have to log into two e-mail accounts forever?
Well, get an external mail reader (Outlook, Thunderbird, etc) and read the Yahoo! accounts through that?
Why not set it up so that one forwards to the other? I’ve done this with my gmail accounts.
Open a Gmail account and have it fetch mail from your Yahoo accounts. How to:
Apparently, Yahoo restricts mail forwarding and POP access to paid accounts. I found this video how-to that might help you: http://cnettv.cnet.com/forward-yahoo-mail-gmail-free/9742-1_53-50080743.html
You don’t have to put a gmail address in for forwarding, you should be able to put in the other yahoo address, or any other address, if you want.
Try PopPeeper, this lightweight mail program rocks. It supports IMAP. POP mail and also web mail like Yahoo and Hotmail.
I guarantee you, you’ll love this program and it’s FREE!!!
