I began noticing the extreme length of Trump’s blatherings last year during the RNC. I turned to my CBS affiliate at 10:00 to watch the start of the news only to find he was still going on. That speech lasted at least 70 minutes, IIRC.
In that category, Trump manages to put even Bill Clinton to shame. He REALLY likes the sound of his own voice.

God, guys and gals, can y’all imagine if Trump were President on the 20th anniversary of 9/11, or as he would call it, the ‘20th Anniversary of Al Qeada giving me the tallest building in Manhattan’.
And “Turnip” would have been a decent code name to use when posting about the CFSG. During his infestation of the White House I usually didn’t want to use his name in my posts, but substituting Drumph or Rump or Dtrump felt a bit silly. In comparison, Turnip is a decent, dignified alias.
Hopefully there won’t be much new political fuckery from the CFSG and his horde. Hopefully this thread can document the draining of the boils and fetid pustules left over from the clusterfuck. The ClusterPop, if you will.
Pence hops back on board the runaway trump train after being shoved under it:

We’ve seen many Repubs kiss his ass and fondle his balls after trump insulted them and their family, or tried to destroy their political career, but doing so after trump could have actually had him killed is a new level of craven cowardice.
Is it really worth it to try to preserve the shredded and tattered remains of his political career in the trumpublican party? What is there that’s left for him? Maybe he’s just trying to tone down the death threats from rabid trumpers? I really do not understand.
Those golden balls are just so tempting for Pence. So … Gold. Mesmerizing, really.

As for whatever it is Pence thinks he accomplished with that editorial, AKA tissue of lies: he may delusionally believe he has a future in GOP politics, or he may just want Trump’s thugs to take his name off their hit lists.

Give Pence a break. If he really believes that the election was not administered securely he should be furious at whoever was running the country for the last four years and allowed it to be run so poorly.
I posted before my take on the GOP’s assertions regarding the last election. They’re convinced that the election was invalid because the GOP candidate did not win the election for president; however, the GOP office holders who just got elected on those same ballots and are asserting the presidential ballots are invalid are not asserting their part of the ballot was invalid.
