Post CF and on-going Trump outrages

Just one word, Ben…

…tulips.

More pettiness from Little Donnie Fail-Fail [emphasis mine].

Yet former President Donald Trump has repeatedly slammed the infrastructure bill and urged Republicans to oppose it, arguing it would deliver Biden a major legislative win.

Yeah, never mind that it’s good for the country. Never mind that the Congress is doing something that helps both parties. It makes Biden look good, so it’s anathema.

Judge Tanya S. Chutkan does not seem to be a MAGAt. When lawyers for CFEFWSG tried to convince her that his records are protected under the umbrella of executive privilege, she said, not gonna enjoin their release (to the Congressional Jan 6 commission, not just everyone).

The Ruling (39 pg pdf)

WHOA!

ThelmaLou runs to the window expecting to see the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse galloping across the sky.

Each of these is something trumpy opposes on principle (to the extent that he has principles):

  1. Good for the country so it must be bad for me. Anything that is good for anyone else automatically takes something away from me.
  2. Both parties should never work together for any reason. They should always be at war. Just like my people must always compete with each other for my favor, to the death if it pleases me. The more blood lawsuits, the better. Chaos is the word!
  3. If a Democrat looks good, that’s bad. If Sleepy Joe looks good, that’s bad times… er…times a very big number that my staff will work out. We’ll get back to you with that in two weeks.

Ya know, I’ve read a million times before about how Trump’s “management style” hinges on maintaining internal conflict among subordinates at all times. It really does explain quite a bit. Chaos for the sake of chaos.

That “style” gag makes an internal coup less likely because nobody really trusts anybody at any level.

You know who else used that leadership style? Yeah, him.

Yeah but I think that more of it is just a bully being a bully.

It also tends to prevent opposition from coalescing within the ranks. If everyone is at one anothers’ throats, it’s difficult to find common ground even if everyone knows individually that Dear Leader is heading them off a cliff.

Ummm… is this thing on? <tap, tap>

Individual 1 announced today that he is running his own foreign policy.

Can we just build him a Tru(mp)man Show dome already?

Have to keep the Q supporters opening their wallets. If they don’t see little donny fail fail doing things like this they might start to wonder if he actually isn’t a loser in control of nothing.

Can’t say I’m surprised honestly.

That’s blatantly illegal.

Is the AG going to actually DO something this time, or just more hang wringing?

Not that I don’t have the greatest faith in the world in the Political Tribune, but this appears on their “about” page:

Sheila is the Editor In Chief Of Political Tribune. Her love for politics started only 5 years ago

Andrea is the primary writer for Political Tribune. She’s been at this for four years

Conover is a seasoned veteran in the political field. She’s been writing for about 10 years now

I know that journalistic credibility doesn’t demand that you be an éminence grise, but golly.

He’s just lining up Russian hookers. Melania is probably relieved.

We could see a wagging finger this time.

So what happens in Belarus or Ukraine or wherever when Trump sends an “ambassador” there? Does this “ambassador” actually try to engage with them in negotiations of any kind? Do the officials in Belarus or Ukraine or wherever pay any attention to such an unofficial “ambassador”? Do they even pretend to humor him? Or just blow him off? Do they create “treaties” or other agreements that the Biden administration is then embarrassed to have to repudiate them?

Presumably the Biden administration is smart enough to say “What you talkin’ 'bout, Willis?” if anyone mentions an agreement made by the Trump shadow administration.

Laughing and pointing at whatever envoy brought it up would seem to be in order also.

The Independent is also reporting the same story.
