Cool, I think that you can look up your stats (post count, join date, etc) in your user area by doing a profile link. Not sure but I think I used to do that.
I joined in Oct 2001 just after 9/11 My god that was a long time ago. I left as many others when they went pay to post (2005???) and just returned a couple of days ago. I have lurked off and on. Sometimes I would get irritated and want to post and then think…nah it’s not worth 15 bucks. I have a few other sites at which I post, so that keeps me busy.
I wonder if they’ll let Reeder back in. He was humorous, but such a tool. :dubious:
Lurked for a long time, signed up right before it went pay. A few years ago, I tried a couple times to subscribe but couldn’t get the payment to work. I’ve been lurking on and off the whole time and almost signed back up a few times but never got around to it.
MsNito has always been amazed that I could lurk for so long without posting.
Been a weekday lurker here since 2000. I read the boards exclusively at work - but moving to a cube farm for the first time since then. I don’t know how this is going to pan out.
The message board says: “Welcome, papataz.
You last visited: 07-23-2006 at 08:59 AM”, but I’ve been lurking for at least two years before making my single post… and, apparently, two years after that :).
Long-time lurker, finally enjoying free posting rights. I don’t expect anyone to read this momentous contribution to the sphere of human knowledge, given that I’ve just skipped about 5 pages or rather similar contributions, but it’s the thought that counts
I really thought I replied to this thread on the first day but I guess that’s when the boards were waaaaay slow for me and it got eaten somehow.
I have lurked since about 2000 or so and posted once in a great while. I think my post count was around 100 or so. I refused to pay to post when I didn’t post that much anyway, plus I was just graduating college and didn’t know where I was going to be or if I would ever have money again. I kept reading the whole time, though. It’s good to be able to say something now if I feel like it!
No apologies necessary, though because ny doper username book (don’t know the phone numbers, natch) got quite full in my first several years, I can’t place your name. But your sig quite clearly demonstrates you’re a person who recognizes wit, deprecation and nekkid people, and these are, of course, humanity’s greatest attributes – with massive, and possibly throbbing phallic, emphasis on the last one.
I’ve been lurking here for many years (more than five…before that it’s kind of blurry) and have been tempted many times to pay up and say something in some of the threads. But I never did.
I’ve had countless hours of bliss reading these forums. Brilliant humor and debate and lots of compassion and acceptance. I’m looking forward to actually being able to say something now!
