Finished last Thursday–only one exam proper, but it was a doozy. Whew. shivers

I did my only exam on Friday, and my tutor e-mailed me yesterday to tell me I had passed. Yay!

I’m finally done as of an hour ago. I think I did pretty decent, I have 2 for sure A’s, and one possible B (chemistry, which I’ve struggled with all semester - oh joy, I have Chem 2 next semester :rolleyes: ) I’m very glad it is over. My freshman year is over! Last year at this time I wasn’t even sure I’d be accepted, and here I am doing it and getting good grades.

I don’t think I can say that enough. I am done with my first semester of my Master’s. No more of those icky classes that I hate. Sadly, I didn’t like any of my classes last semester. Oh, and I get to say that now. LAST semester. Because I’m done. I’m not in a semester right now.
I’ve got grades back in two of my three classes. A- and B+. I wish the B+ were higher since I’m looking into major grants next semester, but I also think it’s great given that I walked into the final this morning with a low B-.
I am now going to start my Christmas shopping and cleaning. The fun never stops at the Kangaroo household.

Of course I gotta go study some more for my 2nd try at the PCAT. (compsite percentile on the first test- 59th) I have about 30 days to study for that. 
Anyway, YAY! Gonna go partay and get down and funky.
Ok, gonna go crawl into bed and sleep for 14 hours. I have a damnedest canker sore in the back of my throat and alcohol only makes it burn sooo badly. Why oh Why!
I’ve been waiting all weekend to be able to post in this thread. Then after my last final (this morning), I forgot. Until now.
I’m officially done my first semester of college. My last final was French, and it was one of the easiest tests I have ever taken. I finished in under twenty minutes (including the time it took to go over it two or three times before handing it in); the hardest part was getting there and back in the ten-degree weather with wet hair and shoes with bad traction.
The grades are starting to come in, and so far I have a 4.0. Go me.

I must have missed this thread when it started. I finished back on the 16th. Boy that felt good–until I start getting marks back. I really need to work harder next semester.

Turned in my final project – everything – on Friday, one day early from my Saturday at midnight deadline.

I finished a week ago and just got my last grade back.
A, A-, B, B- and 2 C’s
The A’s were unexpected (I kept thinking B’s) and the C’s were actually better than I’d hoped (they were my worst classes). So I’m pretty happy with myself and plan to work a little harder in January.
