Mine do it too, at least the two young enough to be spritely. Also, thank god this wasn’t about you feeling frisky after you pooed, b/c this is the Dope and someone would start that thread.
When my Bert does it, he’s usually working up a poop, Johnny.
He’s relieved to have empty bowels. Doesn’t a good poop make you feel better?
Same with my cat. Pre-poo friskiness.
My 'fraidy cat gets friendly after poops or urps.
This is the ONLY time my elderly cat gets frisky. I always know when it’s time to scoop the litterbox because she tears around the living room and scratches on her scratching post. After about 45 seconds the zoomies subside and she goes back to her usual sedate self.
My cat randomly zooms around before or after. Sometimes both. A good poo does make me feel better, I suppose it has the same effect on the cat, though I don’t zoom around afterwards.
Wouldn’t you after losing 10-15% of your body weight? (Perhaps that’s just MY cat)
It doesn’t make you feel lonely?
Well, I’m sittin’ on the toilet

Empty Rectum Blues
John, what key’s that in?
Q
Oh, I’d just to a typical Blues progression starting in E.

Better than the Constipation Blues!
:smack:
**YEAH, Garfield!!! **.
I love it!
John, A 12-bar in E. I’ll send it to ya when I get it done.

Mine used to run like hell after laying one, but now he’s 18 and can’t be bothered.
All my animals are like this. It’s so cute. Even my 15-year-old dog gets all full of beans after she shits, scratches up the grass and frolics down the street, pulling on her leash.
Who knows? I sure don’t feel excited after I poop.
Perhaps it’s your diet? Is your coat dull and lackluster or bright and shiny?
The only time one of mine did that, he had a large nugget stuck to his fur, about ping-pong-ball-sized. He was trying to outrun it or something, bucking like a madman…
