Post your appropriately named schoolteachers..

My science teacher was called Mr Cartlege (sp?)

I know there were others but I can’t remember off the top of my head (I am sure they will come to me)

I had a geography teacher called Mr. Mapp.

Elementary School Physical Education: Mr. Runner

High School Alegbra: Mrs. Summ; Home Economics: Mrs. Cook

College Psychology Practicum Supervising Professor: Dr. Charity; English Literature: Dr. Righter; Fibre Arts (elective): Ms. Weaver

Statistics Prof: Funk

Totally playboy material student teacher in Jr. High: Ms. Best

Industrial Arts teacher in Jr. High: Mr. Strange. Believe me, it was appropriate.

May I submit Mrs. Wideman? 300 pounds easy. Fifth-graders can be cruel.

Mr. Dick for fifth grade. P. Dick. Fifth-grade boys had fun with that.

Mrs Coal was my cookery teacher. She retired and was replaced by Mrs Burn.

Mr Carpenter was the woodwork teacher for a while (though he ended up doing metalwork).

Mr Hunt the chemistry teacher. How is this appropriate? Because it rhymed with his personality.

My high school maths teacher was Mrs Merriman. She tired of the blackboard messages about her and Robin Hood.

I had a primary teacher called Miss Crab and she was a crabby b***h.

Mr Fairey was very effeminate.

Mr Angles was a mathematics teacher.

Mrs Deutsch was my German teacher (yes, I know it’s not a rare name, but still).

Miss Cook. – guess.

Physed and Health (including sex ed) – Mr Condon. Hmmm

Chemistry teacher Mr Speed. (Funny we never saw any significance in it.)

My quantitative analysis lecturer’s first name is Talk. Names like this are all we get here.

The headteacher at my school was a Mr Bates. For some reason I don’t remember anyone realising that that is was funny at the time. ( Possibly as we where all so scared of him ).

Headmaster Bates, for those who arn’t Brits …

Oops, must remember to preview …

My daughter has a brand new, first-year math teacher this year. Cute little young thing, can’t possibly be more than 22. Her name is Miss Newby.

Ms. Pigg, was, unfortunately, more than a bit overweight…

Religion teacher Mr. Klugh, pronounced “clue”, one of those rare teachers who really had one…

I had a shop teacher named Mr. Woody.

There used to be a Physical Education instructor at Grove City College named James Shorts. Jim Shorts. That one always cracked me up.
