I’ve never had a moment’s difficulty telling you apart from other posters, because I invariably envision all your posts being written by three white bears crowded around a keyboard.

See, I’ve met Tripler and the guy’s actually fuckin’ cool. Kind of like a cross between Indiana Jones and Miles Davis–able to whoop some Nazi/Soviet ass, but still lay down some awesome riffs at the end of the day. I hear he is some sort of goverment agent or something in real life. I picture some sort of James Bond or something.
TriPolar does, in fact, seem suave, witty, and pretty well spoken, but he just doesn’t have the. . . presence. Has anyone ever seen him without his polar bears? I mean, Tripler has been doing that pre-sig thing for what, twelve goddamned years now? :rolleyes: Usually they’re kinda ‘meh’, but sometimes one’ll make me snort–those far and few between though.

I have mentioned this before, but for reasons inexplicable even to me I get alice_in_wonderland and Guinastasia aligned in my head as being the same person. Maybe it’s because the names are fairy-tale derived? They don’t seem to be similar in any other way. Though I do notice Guinastasia occasionally provokes reactions.

So THAT’S the origin of that name. In my mind’s voice I’ve (variously) pronounced it as “Guin-e-NAST-eah”, “Guin-AST-asia” or even “GUI-nast-a-sia”, but never even imagined that it rhymed it with “Anastasia”, as in “Ann-a-STAY-zhee-a”… :smack:
