Very nice indeed. Looks like a good popcorn thriller for the summer.
Yeah this one is pretty much at the top of my list for big blockbuster for the summer…that and cars. I feel like both are can’t miss winners, and with the price of movie tickets these days I don’t have anyroom to come out disappointed.

You know, I kept thinking this was some kind of joke you all were in on, cause I was pretty sure there was no Passion of the Christ 2. Then I watched the trailer. Duh.
Jesus vs. undead pirates with Mary Magdalene in a catfight with Keira Knightley in a tight corset? It’ll be a smash hit!

I had no idea what movie was being referred to UNTIL the mention of Passion of the Christ. Then I remembered the same joke from the original POTC threads:)
Any movie with an ilithid pirate in it is just automatically cool. And Keira Knightly is still completely, though inexplicably, smoking hot. Either of those alone would probably be enough to get me to see a movie.
Some of the effects in the trailer still look a bit off, but then, they usually do in trailers. They’ll probably look better on the big screen, in context, and with a few more months of postproduction.
And I liked the visual analogy between the chest opening, and the guns running out on Davy Jones’ ship.
Clearly it would be:
Passion of the Christ 2 : Apocolypse Now
I prefer Titanic Two: The Surface.
Holy shit does that look good.
REally I thought the FX were great. Some of the best of the summer’s fare…
Honestly, if this were a real movie I admit I’d pay money to see it.
