Poverty or Chastity?
Chastity. Worst case: I get so horny I go on antidepressants, many of which lower libido.
Poverty is much harder to cure, and potentially fatal because of health care issues.
Poverty. I’ve lived with very little and could do it again. Orgasms I can’t go without. (I’m assuming this chastity vow precludes masturbation as well)
There are degrees of both poverty and chastity. I need more specifics.
Chastity! Easy when you have no sex drive.
Poverty. I’ve lived with it off-and-on for 43 years.
I would not view either one as a bad thing.
I’m an asexual, so I wouln’t mind ten years of chasity. Heck, I’ve been doing nineteen years and going!

Poverty I can do. Property tends to own us. I could be quite content living in a remote wilderness area, but not by myself.
Chastity. No contest.
What are the parameters of poverty? Like me, driving a 10 year old used car and being able to put food on the table and in the dog bowls, or picking through rags on a garbage hill in Botswana for anything edible or salable?
I can easily (and preferably) live in the relative poverty I have now. Celibacy is no biggie, either. I could quite easily be a nun, except that I love my animals too much to give them up and I don’t like communal living.

Assuming that poverty means basic needs met with no extras, I choose poverty. No contest at all. I like stuff, but not nearly as much as I like sex.
Is there an automatic upgrade on the one I don’t pick?
