I got my ass kicked in our 14-player tourney … I went elsewhere and found a 5-person $5+$0.50 sit-n-go, and got my ass kicked there, too … so I was just about to call it a night, but something inside me said “one more SNG! one more SNG!” So, even though my online play has been dismal since last week (as was my live play last Friday), I played a 10-person $5+$0.50 – and finished 3rd! Nothing quite as sweet as seeing that “welcome to the payout structure” message! 
So with that, I call it a night. See y’all next Thursday.

That was an action packed evening. Lots of position changes and 2 breaks, that’s a good game.
Damn it! You mean to tell me I missed a Duke/Yeti showdown? If I can’t win, that’s the matchup I’m usually rooting for. Mainly so I can make fun of them when they have a downturn. But still…
It was a good heads-up. Yeti had a 3:2 or so chip lead when it started and we swapped that back and forth a few times. The last hand I think I had 9 6 os. I’ll have to look at the hand. Pretty heavy betting and I got something on the flop, all ins and caught a 6 I think on the river. I don’t know what Yeti had, I’m sure he wasn’t expecting to be sucked out on the river
Last hand I had 5h 9d, Yeti had Ah Qh. Flop was 8d 3h 9s, so I flopped top pair, Yeti got a h. Turn 8h, paired the board, another h for Yeti. River was 3s, so I didn’t suck out on the river, 99 was all I had. I was damn lucky. Yeti had 9 hearts, 3 aces and 3 queens that could have beat me.
33 Heads-Up hands between Duck and I. Hell of a game! OLD SCHOOL rock’em sock’em robot type of game! Mike and Vince would have been proud and the MAB would have been free-flowing off of Shana’s lovely curves and into our mouths! Yes, it was THAT type of game!

Like, ummmm…what the hell was I thinking?!? That hand kind of put me on tilt, although I felt pretty confident about going all in on that last hand (my AQh v. 59o) with the flop the way that it was, and Duck had to make that easy call since he was holding top pair. Just got bushwhacked, that’s all. Again, GREAT GAME, Duck.
And I’ve got the bruises to show for it.

You flopped a straight and I was paired with Qs, but drawing on a royal flush. Even if you would have went all in at this point, I would have called because I do like to chase the ultimate hand. Ac comes up and I pull even with you. I figured that the only way to kill me is if you had the A-rag of hearts and another heart came up on the river, but I liked my odds, especially if the Ah or 9h came up. Instead, a 5h comes up, and your awesome flopped straight became the place horse, with the jockey frantically beating the shit out of it across the finish line.
You may call me an MF’r all you want this week.
I did suck out once last night, pretty good sized pot and had to call a fair bet to see the river, the river card was a heart and those sweet chips came to Papa Rat.

Sure is. By the time I get to heads-up in a tourney, I am mentally exhausted. I doubt that I have gone more than 10 hands. I either win early, or, more often, lose early.
By the way, Stars is giving away a ton of money leading up to its 4 billionth hand. I plan to play there until it passes.
