Ok, I have a newbie question: once I’m signed up for the tournament, do I have to stay logged in to PT? Can I exit and log back in again closer to game time, and still be signed up?

I still don’t know how I made 4th place last night. I was scraping along for the whole night, hit a couple desperation hands late and was even in 3rd place by chip count for a few minutes. I’ll take it.
However, I’ve finished 4th, 5th and 10th in my three games so far this quarter. Seems like that ought to be higher than 9th place in the standings.
I finished third in the $5 Limit for $33.14.
I was shortstacked and BB (1500), holding T4d and the chipleader was SB($750), holding KdTc…he calls(750). Button folded. I check.
Flop was 9d 4s 10h…I had 2 pair to his Ts with a K kicker.
He checked, I bet (1500) and he called (1500). This was a great move on his part.
Turn: Kh…now I am behind but of course, didn’t know it…2p is a great hand when there are only 3 players left…obviously, he felt the same way.
Now he bets (3000), so I figured he had just a pair of Kings, so I reraised and went all-in with 4300 for a total pot of 14,600.
River: 8h
Showdown: Ouch.
Then the last two players ended up going about another 30+ minutes before the guy who took me out finally took out the other player. Blinds were around 6k/12k (level 17 I think)…pretty outlandish when the total number of chips on the table was 76,500.
So, I ended up with a profit of 27.74 for the night, counting the whopping .10 profit from our tournament.
Geez, a new babe comes to play and I end up in last. Time to revoke my playa card. Not too smart going all in on a double belly buster straight draw. Stupid JJ, I can’t crack em and I always seem to get them cracked.
DefectiveYeti was unstoppable last night.
That’s okay. We all know you deliberately sandbagged to get on her good side.
Dag didn’t so much take me out on my final hand as be the person closest to me when I fizzled into nothingness. He did, however, put a major hurt on me in the very first hand when I flopped a set of 3’s and he flopped a set of K’s.
