Imust say, it was quite impressive by both Dag and nesta who were down to a few blinds each with about 7 players on the table. I remember Dag asking how he was going to come back and I said, nonchalantly, “Just double up four times” and what did he do? Pretty much just that, including his final time against me, crippling me on the river (I had JJ, so I should’ve been psychologically prepared to lose the hand) and sending me into a murderous rage that I am surprised has not been all over the news.

OMD claimed the kill on CapnPitt (which I counted), but who killed OMD?..I’m pretty sure it wasn’t me…so…Dag, Nesta, Root or Kyy?

My goal last night was just to outlast Dag since he was only ahead of me by a few points in the standings. It was looking doubtful for quite a while, and then he had some bad luck and finally only had one blind left. I thought I was home, but then he took that blind, doubled up three or four times in quick succession, and there I was, back to short stack with almost no hope to catch him. Luckily the cards fell my way towards the end. Once again I sneak to the top! GG Dag and everyone else.

Just a quick note that I won’t be playing tonight – because it’s my best friend’s birthday, not 'cause I’m skeered. :smiley: I’ll be back to give away more of my chips next week…

Sounds like I missed a good game last week. (Although, I notice that I climbed one place in the quarterly standings. I wonder if I can turn that into a winning strategy.)

Well, I missed it on purpose. I luvv me some Women’s Collegiate World Series (NCAA fast-pitch softball finals), available on an ESPN2 channel near you, and a local girl is on the Northwestern team which was playing in our tourney time slot. Went 10 innings. By the time it was over, the tourney was over, so I didn’t get to jeer and cheer from the peanut gallery.

Thanks. :smiley: I really didn’t expect to be back so early, but I got home 15 minutes before gametime and registered 10 minutes before.

Of course, I can finish 2nd in an 11-player game with a $0.10 buy-in but finish 13th in a 14-player game with a $20 buy-in (the tourney I just got home from). :smack: :slight_smile:
