Haven’t really thought about the original question, since I haven’t been hanging around here as much. Possibly Broken Doll. Other than that, I’ll have to think about it some more.
My sig is pretty small as they go, and making it a habit is the only way I remember to do it at all. Everywhere else I’ve ever posted, it’s automatic. (Which is actually why I said that, 'cause I wasn’t in the habit.) If the mods don’t like it or feel I’m abusing the board they’re certainly free to ban me, though I’ve never been warned about it since I started posting in '01. I would be a little upset that things had suddenly changed or they decided it was ban-worthy once I paid the $15 to post. It’s not like I’m posting a whole paragraph or a list of quotes in multi-colours like some people; I actually tried to be fairly discreet about it. Que sera, sera.
