From watching the preview for this movie I predict the woman ends up with the rich jerk not the quirky poor country guy.
Although I have no intention of seeing it, that would be a welcome change of pace.
I was actually in Charleston, S.C. during the filming. They converted the front of the hotel we were staying in to a movie theater facade. We also watched them shooting some scenes in downtown. One involved a bus going up and down the street.

The four main stars were Ryan Gosling, Rachel McAdams, James Garner and Gena Rowlands. Rachel McAdams was a revelation! She’s a wonderful actress and a living breath of fresh air. I liked her in Mean Girls but I fell in love with her in The Notebook.
