That was always going to be the case. Who else’s fault could it possibly be?
My opinion of Biden is that he’s awesome for having defeated Trump in 2020 and has been a pretty darn good president during a difficult time. You won’t be able to find a quote by me on here saying anything different.
The chaos was originally created by Biden by not being up to the job of at least campaigning for president. What was necessary behind the scenes in order to respond to the situation is not known to outsiders, at least not fully. My perception is that this has been about as clean as could have been expected.
The media, for one.
Trump wants a refund for the money spent campaigning against Biden.
Here it is right here. This is just the stof the wrangling over who should be the nominee. And who do we have here a white guy. How much experience does this guy have?
I’ve seen a lot of “All is well” here. In real life every single democrat I know felt like the election was lost after the debate. Not because the media told them. Because they watched the debate. Every single Democrat I know reacted poorly towards his ability to be president for the next four years. This was a reaction to what the voters saw not because of the media or a couple of high ranking democrats
A refund from whom? Is he saying that he paid off the media but it didn’t work so he wants his money back?
Yes, the most successful president of modern times thinks he can beat the knuckle head he already beat. What a terrible person.
I guarantee you he hasn’t thought that far ahead. “SOMEBODY GIVE ME MONEY” is his default reaction to everything.
His next demand will probably be that he should get to run against Hillary Clinton again.
As president? None. In just about every other aspect of life a lot.
But he’s not going to be the nominee, the Vice President will be.
The good thing here is that campaigning rarely works. Just because Trump says something nasty doesn’t mean it sticks.
As for the nickname, Trump has repeatedly used Laughing Kamala. Less often — Crazy Kamala. These seem to me weak, but, admittedly, I am pro-Harris.
Trump never shows any class. Does he always have to kick people at their lowest moment? He could have wished Biden well and showed concern for his health.
This should cost the Orange guy some votes.

People are saying Joe Manchin might register as a democrat again and run.
Joe Manchin must have seen your post.
I wonder if Bernie Sanders will jump in next? He’s 82 and older than Biden.
If Manchin can get 300 Democratic delegates to put his name into nomination, more power to him.
Bernie is a smart guy and understands the danger of Trump. He was behind Biden’s reelection 100%. He will be behind Harris.
Newsom endorsed Harris. He was probably the only question mark for me amongst anyone with a chance. All the angling will be for the VP slot.
The primaries aren’t democratic elections. The Democratic Party can choose however it wants to select a candidate. The only risk is if they pick somebody odious to the members of the party they may lose those members.
But the party has no particular obligation to conduct a “democratic election”, and it’s not an affront to democracy if they make a late change in their nominating decision.
…
The more I think of this, the more I think it was brilliantly timed.
I, for one, was a democrat turned despondent after watching Biden in that debate. I still knew who I was voting for, but I was hugely disappointed in that fact that Biden apparently couldn’t command the bully pulpit anymore.
Now, the democrats are energized. I’m downright giddy. And this bump is happening right as Trump is riding his convention surge, and is coming before the Democratic convention even starts.
Which means the democrats have taken the wind out of Trump’s sails, and are going to ride a wave of momentum into their nomination.
And the party powers are coalescing around Harris. I think voters are going to be excited to elect a woman of color (I know I am), and Harris can claim all of the accomplishments of this very successful administration.
Agreed.
I do not buy the word chaos. Both parties have rules for when a candidate drops out. We do not need a Soviet-style convention where all the delegates vote for the same candidate.
Now, if it went to 103 ballots, like in 1924, that would be a problem. But that is not a risk. Harris is highly likely to win on the first ballot. Based on everything I now know, I hope she does. But each delegate, now that they are freed to exercise their judgment, should do so without being made to feel guilty for having a different opinion than mine.
