I get a message:
Sorry, the image you are trying to upload is too big (maximum size is 0KB), please resize it and try again.
Same message even for very small pics 50x50, and won’t upload a new image. Looks like a bug.
Seems to be fixed now.
I did not have a problem as of 15 minutes ago other than searching my harmdrive [sic 
]
Seems like the developers are slowly correcting flaws and desires from us users. (I’m still frustrated somewhat).
Discovered: if one tries but put a smilie inside a bracket —> […] it won’t show/render.
Nor does a empty bracket pair. (Might be my browser though…Latest Edge/Windows 10s).
