:dubious:
Toyota Tundra truck. Absolutely fabulous, even after three years!
Sea & Ski SPF 50 UVA UVB sunblock lotion…with astaZANTHIN. This stuff has acutally made my precancerous skin lesions go away.
Olympus C-750 UltraZoom digital camera. Takes great photos…and easy to use on auto, or go crazy using your own settings.
Case pocket knives.
La Cross Technology radio controlled weather stations.
Mr. Clean Magic Eraser - It’s amazing. It’s magic. And it erases.
Aveeno Positively Radiant skin products, especially the facial moisturizer - I’m addicted.
Movado watches - I’ve had mine going on 15 years now. There is not a single mark or scratch on the face. I’ve replaced the strap 3 times, and the battery twice.
Revlon Colorstay Nail Polishes - The stay on. They look great. A manicure will last me almost 2 weeks, a lot for me. A pedicure, easily over a month.
DVD-Lab Pro: All the DVD-editing options you could want with none of the proprietary “let’s-make-it-easy-by-hiding-things” muddle. And the trial version vorks without crashing too, unlike a certain big-name software I could mention [sub]cough Adobe cough[/sub].
Mozilla: it just works.
Ivory soap: it just works.
The SDMB: more think for the buck then anywhere else on the net.
Prismacolor coloured pencils: my sister gave me a set twenty years ago and they’ve helped keep my art alive ever since.
Staedtler and Kohinoor technical pens: heart of a good Sunspace drawing since 1982.
Peeled baby carrots: addictive and yummy…
Sour Soothers candy: just because.
Pocky: when nothing else will do.
Anime Extreme: where to go in Toronto when you want a taste of All-Purpose Cultural Cat Girl Nuku Nuku but can’t speak Japanese. (If I spoke Japanese, I’d go over to Tokyo Express in Kensington Market.)
The Beguiling: Toronto’s best comic store. Two floors of American, French, and Japanese comics: history, politics, magazines, even erotica.
Sometime soon, I hope to add this one:
The Smart fortwo: different is good. Especially in a time of rising fuel prices.
Wilbur Buds–far creamier than Hersheys Kisses.
Activated charcoal–amazing cheap remedy for stomach n’ gut problems.
Yves Rocher cosmetics and perfumes.
Trader Joe’s.
In N’ Out Burgers.
Keds, Clarks and Propet shoes.
Ivory dishwashing liquid Every other brand I’ve used just tears up my hands.
And thanks for the endorsement of the Mr. Clean Magic Eraser. I just bought one to try.

I’m not going to count food or beverages, as it would make the list too long.
Anything by Lush. I’m actually a bit embarassed by how obsessed I am with these soaps and goodies. They can really make my day.
Lipcote. Varnish for lips. Why buy fancy long lasting lipsticks when you can just buy a cheap little bottle of this? I use two layers each of lipstick and lipcote and I don’t have to touch up all night. Which is saying something, as I drink Guinness.
Siemens mobiles. So much better than your hip Nokias. I just got a new A55 and they managed to iron out everything that was even the slighest bit annoying in the older models. What I love is that, apart from all the ringtonery and animation that might thrill some, someone obviously really paid attention to what people said about the previous models and got all the little details right. That’s a rare thing.
Chinaberry one of the best resources for excellent children’s books that do not have a commercialized theme. They find books or rediscover books that have fallen through the cracks of mainstream pop culture. Most excellent company run by people who care. I have bought dozens of books from them over the years and have always been very satisfied with the service and selection.
Rosie’s Hippo a toystore that caters to the nature toys which spark creativity and imagination. Sometimes pricey, but always geared towards the spirit of kids. Love it.
Dead Men Tell No Tales I just found this site for all things pirates. All.Things. Pirates. Who can resist? I dare you not to fall in love and want to buy an eye patch, you swab.
Magic Cabin Dolls another excellent toy resource for toys that you wish you could find everywhere. Has a Waldorf theme to it.
Ford Econoline 150 or 250. I’ve had them both and I adore my van. Exceptionally reliable with a roominess that is comparable to a mobile living room. The gas tank sucks at a 30 gallon fill up, but whether traveling, shuttling or garage saleing, I have absolutely no worries if it can fit in side or haul it.
I can haul kids, dog, and loads of crap with room to spare. Try that you pussy minivans!
Little wonder why Ford hasn’t changed the design in 25 years. It doesn’t need too.
Me loves my Econoline.
Philosophy’s Hope in a Jar - Best face cream ever, and their shampoos and conditioners are nice too.
KitchenAid stand mixers.
Le Creuset dutch ovens.
Remington rifles.
Leupold optics.
Wrangler 20X jeans. Tough, and they fit.
Honda- My car has about a 1/4 million miles on it, and while it does need a little work, I know that if it had been mine from the start, it wouldn’t. Great cars.
Skunk2- If you’re doing an all engine build up, they are more than happy to help and offer some truly impressive gains.
Jackson Superchargers- One of the first SuperChargers that realized that an import 4 banger can go fast, and THE first to offer something that complies with California’s overwhelmingly fierce smog laws.
Mt. Dew.
SDMB.
Meguires car care products. I’m a fan.
Toyota. I’m currently having a more satisfying long-term relationship with my Toyota Echo than I have ever had with a member of the opposite sex.
Netflix. If I didn’t have to eat, I might never leave the house. But then my Echo would miss me.
SoftPaws. I don’t care what Dave Barry says, they work, dang it, exactly as advertised.
Mozilla. Why is anyone still using Explorer again?
Graeter’s Ice Cream. The best reason to live in Cincinnati.
