So Mom Chance, my beloved mater, has suddenly got this serious jonz for some book she read as a child. It’s called (so she tells me) Professor Peckham’s Adventures In A Drop Of Water.
And she expects me to find the thing. She tells me it was published more than 50 years ago and is probably out of print.
A cursory search of Amazon and some used book sites has got me nowhere.
Can the TM help? Anyone got info or data on the title and where I could score a copy?
Mucho thanks to all involved. Help a guy make his mom happy, will ya?
Apparently you are not alone.

I’ll check out the Antipodes.
A little bump, begging for help from the morning folks…
A used book shop can usually do a search for out of print books like this for a dollar or 2. If you don’t have one near where you live, there’s one close to my office. Should I check? They should also be able to tell you about swap meets for antique and collectible paper dealers.
You can also do searches for out of print books at Barnes & Noble’s website - http://www.bn.com/. I didn’t find anything that looked like this, though. Check the prices closely if you do find it listed there later. I found a listing for a paperback I wanted, but they were asking $40-50 per copy - a bit steep!
