I’m not seeing a thread – let me know if I missed it.
Glad to see my Philly homegirl Dom back; also glad to see Fade back, hope he doesn’t run out of steam. And I like Emily but don’t care for her clothes.
Stella is not nearly as groovy as she thinks she is.
How many eps till Ken melts down? (And if he turned his peplum into something that wasn’t a peplum, what was it, and why did the judges like it so much?)
Not eliminating either of those bottom two looks was Tim-Gunn-save lame – they should have both gone home.
Now we know where Daniel Franco went (cue Santino). I’m glad to see Kini and Fade. They both bring some much needed talent to the work room. I really like Isaac and Georgina as judges although will always miss the Duchess of Orange. I watch, expecting no fashion, just a soap opera, and I am not disappointed. Lighten up, it’s just fashion.
I haven’t watched yet – have to find it On Demand – but am looking forward to it. The winner of the Junior edition had some interesting ideas but the looks in general were a snoozefest. Glad adult designers are back.
I missed last week and forgot to catch up at 8:00 so I only saw the last 15 minutes of last week. No one aufed, oh well.

This week – what a travesty! I love Fade and I liked his 1000x better than whatever that thing is that Emily made. How could they possibly find more redeeming in hers than his. I hated when he was aufed before and I am pissed this happened already. At least his was more original than the red dress they liked, which has been done to death.
Fade – effin’ Fade, who’s one of the rare people to appear on that show with a genuinely outsider POV – was the first person to go home the entire season? What the everloving fuck? Mitchell AND Daniel should have gone home last week, and Emily should have gone home last night, and Fade should be doing his East German anarchist thing.
Wankers.
Also – don’t you just want to slap the everloving shit out of that little bitch Sam?
I’m reeling. He’s the person I was most interested in and excited to see back. Worst decision in a very long time. Emily’s was a trainwreck and I thought the decision was obvious.
Sam. I’m trying to be charitable and assume he’s overcompensating for deep insecurities.
I have no clue how the absolute train wrecks that were Mitchell’s blue bacon dress and rock girl’s leather fringe weren’t even in the bottom! Daniel’s was pretty shit as well.
I loved the wind-machine, it’s nice that they can come up with unusual challenges that aren’t stupid. (I do think it’s just silly to put a former winner on the show. They already won once, give the 2nd and 3rd placers a chance.)
Deeply sorry that Fade was auf’d because he was the only one I was interested in watching. He was the only one with an original viewpoint, talented, thoughtful. Mitchell and Emily should’ve been sent home.
I hate that I liked Daniel’s dress this week, beautiful fabric.
Bored with Valerie’s dress, thought she was in the bottom for being so unoriginal.
Saw that it was on last night, and taped it. I can’t really even be bothered to watch. Everything and everyone is just so ho-hum. Even the drahhhhammmmma is boring.
At least the right person went home last night, although I wouldn’t have been hurt if that pair went home.
How could they have had anything nice to say about that black vinyl monstrosity?
I wish Kini had found a way to expose more of the mermaid dress, with the print maybe down the back or something. That would have been a beautiful color and silhouette on the carpet. He is too nice – tell the judges you made the tailored look! I feel like he clammed up like this in other group challenges. And I misremembering or did that pretty boy he was paired with do no actual work on Under the Gunn either?
I liked Alexander’s OK but black over royal blue is no great revelation. The other dress in that pair actually had a fresh look to it.
ETA: And how does Daniel look so mystified that he was going home? Is he really so clueless?
Leaving aside the question of why anyone, let alone more than one someone, thought the bodice of the third look was anything other than hideous, there are more mysterious questions, starting with “how is he still on the show,” continuing through “why was he chosen for All-Stars,” and ending up with “how did he end up on the regular show in the first place?”
That blonde woman from Little Big Town is the sweetest person ever – “I like the bodice”. DON’T ENCOURAGE HIM IN ANY WAY! You’ve swayed me – at least Daniel’s could have been lined and been not horrible – Mitchell should have gone home and been legally restrained from ever designing again.
I was fine with Stella going home. I never really cared for any of her looks.
Just like I was happy last week when they sent Daniel home. He was even worse.
I don’t really have any strong feelings about the others, other than, even though Kini does pretty good, most of the time I keep thinking he could do just a little bit better. He doesn’t seem to be living up to his full potential in my opinion.
