I thought if I heard one more promo for PR Jr I would scream. I’m not interested in a bunch of Jr Divas. That, along with the commercials for the upcoming Christmas movies, almost made me change the channel.
I liked all four collections, rare for me, but I think Kelly was the best and deserved the win.
The whole season was a bore though.

I wanted to see her ideas and the plus size collection based on her performance at the beginning of the season.
I understood where she was going with the whole headpiece/Mexican throwback thing, but was not in love with her overall collection. A few of Ashley’s looks worked for me, but that last dress? in satin with glued on flowers? in mauve? with a cape or whatever that was? bad bridesmaid.
Kelly, on the other hand, drove me crazy at the start but impressed me more and more with her work and her drive and her insane sense of humor through the season, and I fell in love with her collection. I also think her stuff could sell, which I don’t see in the other collections. It seemed current and colorful and fun.
So, without reading any comments above, because I’m only half-way through (watched to the end of Kelly’s collection) and I have to stop to get ready for an appointment. But I just had to drop in and say
“I, TruCelt, hereby rescind and denounce everything I said above about Kelly.”
I actually thought the glittering only detracted, but with the big hair, and sunglasses, and the more grown-up looks walking, I loved it. It’s not my style, but it’s really good.
Just listened toTLo’s podcast. Short version: they thought Kelly should have won.
I had forgotten what a disaster Laurie’s voice is. Can’t she hear herself?

I’ve almost forgotten – Is she the petite black woman who made the underwear with the seam down the front? If so, she said we haven’t seen (or presumably, heard) the last of her! :eek:

I pretty much like Kelly – wouldn’t be caught dead in her clothes, but like her as a person – but what the everloving fuck was she talking about, it was up to Ashley to make it clear that Kelly wasn’t being a mean girl? Wouldn’t the better way to make that clear be to not act like one in the first place?
Anyone else watching “Junior”?
I caught up on Junior last night on demand and then the new show and I have to say, I didn’t find them divaish, but more like giggly teenagers as they should be. Plus, in the unconventional challenge, they did better than the adult contestants have! I will keep watching.
I caught the reunion show on demand too and yes, Laurie is very nasal and whiny - “I’m talking!” Funny to see everyone chime in on the Mean Girls issue. And that Duncan! What ear and eye candy. It’s too bad he didn’t stick around longer! Is it just me or did he get exponentially cuter between then and now? Bring back Duncan! 
The kid designers on project runway junior are so much nicer than the adult designers.
Of course I felt Very Old when Tim mentioned that an outfit looked very “Gilligan’s Island” and she had no idea what that meant.
My DVR wasn’t set to catch PRJ, so I’ve missed all the eps but the first one. I’ll have to try to catch up.
