I’d like to propose the following law of the Internet:
Call it “Chapman’s Law of Ease of Use”:
“The longer a company’s site has been down, the easier it is to get someone from that company on the phone.”
…and the longer it will take to accomplish what you’re attempting to do…
How about the longer the SDMB is down the more work I seem to get done…
