Protocol suggestion for weekly TV show threads

In this ATMB thread I suggest (copied and pasted due to my laziness):

Would it be a good idea to request posters to link to past episode discussion threads (like maybe 3 or so) in the OP of a thread that discusses a television show? (specifically ones that have a storyline that goes from week to week).

Oh, and if this were to become practice all the OP would have to find is the last thread. They could then copy a couple of the other links in the first post of that thread to have the last two or three episode discussion thread links… They wouldn’t have to fish through all the threads that would come up in search to find them.

Also, some TV shows I find interesting I only catch every other episode or so I think this would be useful.

And the titles of some shows are either too short to search (E.R., for example), or are common words (Lost, for example), making searching for the last week’s thread sometimes a pain.

And (I swear its the last “and”) I currently see 9 threads on the first page of Cafe Society about an episode of one show or another… That’s quite a few, IMHO… This might save some searching time and confusion in each thread about what’s gone on the past few episodes.

I have to say I think it’s a grand idea, and I’m glad to see the 24 threads are still doing it after all these years.

Ah, had no idea any series of threads did this (I’ve never followed 24).
